Part-time Video Production Coordinator: Municipal Meetings
Natick Pegasus is a nonprofit public access TV station located in Natick, Massachusetts. Natick Pegasus operates three channels (Government Access, Education Access, and Public Access), Which are watched throughout Natick on RCN, Comcast, Verizon, and online.
Natick Pegasus is currently looking for a part-time production coordinator(s) to assist with coverage of government meetings. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, The recording of government meetings and setting up the meeting room furniture and equipment.
The applicant will work out of our Clarks Block studio offices and/or our town hall control room. At this time working remotely is not an option
The work involves using.
Hours:
This position is an evening position. Averaging anywhere from 5 to 25 hours a week.
Compensation:
Hourly with no benefits. $20 an hour. 3-hour minimum call-in.
Applicant Requirements:
Applicants should be familiar with working with both Mac and Windows operating systems and be comfortable with multitasking.
A valid driver’s license, automobile, good people skills, and the ability to work independently and as a team.
Work Environment:
Climate-controlled work environment. That may require crawling under desks and reaching. Extended use of a keyboard, mouse, and video switcher panel. Looking at video monitors for an extended period. Sit or stand for long periods. Must be able to lift 25 Pounds.

- A joystick to manipulate up to 4 PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) cameras.
- A video switcher to select between sources to take to broadcast (Cameras 1 - 4, Zoom Feed, and a Room Projector feed).
- Starting and stopping video recorders.
- Adjusting audio levels on an audio mixer.
- Making editorial decisions on what video sources to take to broadcast.
