Kennedy Middle School, Studio
In 2021 Natick Pegasus expanded its operations by opening its third studio in town at the new Kennedy Middle School. In partnership with the Natick Public Schools.
The middle school studio provides for a dedicated multimedia teaching space and allows the students and staff of Middle school direct access to a professional TV studio and dedicated video professionals. Natick Pegasus outfitted the studio at a cost of $200,000 with its own equipment, saving the new school building project money. Natick Pegasus also maintains and replaces equipment on an ongoing basis saving the town from having to hire a video engineer and the cost of replacing equipment . The middle school features a three camera TV studio outfitted with teleprompters and confidence monitors, microphones and lighting grid. Additional five PTZ cameras are permanently located in the auditorium and can be controlled from the TV control room. The auditorium, cafeterias and gymnasium are all served by a dedicated AVoIP network as well as dedicated SM Fiber drops. |
