Kennedy Middle School, Studio
|
In 2021, Natick Pegasus expanded its operations by opening its third studio in town at the new Kennedy Middle School. In partnership with the Natick Public Schools.
The middle school studio provides a dedicated multimedia teaching space and gives students and staff direct access to a professional TV studio and dedicated video professionals. Natick Pegasus outfitted the studio with its own equipment at a cost of $200,000, saving the new school building project money. Natick Pegasus also maintains and replaces equipment on an ongoing basis, saving the town from having to hire a video engineer and from the cost of equipment replacement. The middle school features a three-camera TV studio outfitted with teleprompters and confidence monitors, microphones, and a lighting grid. An additional five PTZ cameras are permanently located in the auditorium and can be controlled from the TV control room. The auditorium, cafeterias, and gymnasium are served by a dedicated AVoIP network and dedicated SM Fiber drops. |
